I think, in the near future I will make it possible to change the color of layers dynamically. There will be 4-5 predefined colors to choose from. The reason is that there is only so many colors and as more layers are being added to the site, the more often you'll end up in a situation where you view two different layers that have similar colors which will visually merge them together. 	Another thing I want to implement is sublayers. Sometimes you want to hide part of a layer. For example, in the lists of monarchs we often have information about dynasties. So instead of one line of time intervals this creates two lines which take more space. It should be possible to temporarily hide dynasties, so you can fit more stuff on the screen.
